Industrial laboratories system at Sukhna represents a leap in products’ inspection field where there has been an accurate 153 examination test in fields that affect industry and citizens’ life, the labs targets instant inspection of different exported and imported products, most outstanding of which are cars’ safety insurance and guarantee of safety and efficiency of domestic devices and light units, and ensuring that products such as toys and textile are void of any danger

There has been implementation for the state’s vision and instructions  for the necessity of reducing Customs’ release to reach two days at maximum, as this will help in improving Egypt category in international trade indicators, and this was through standardization of working methods techniques in Customs release concerned bodies and examining exports and imports, this in addition to the ministerial resolution for work all week long; which participated drastically in reducing customs’ release period, and here comes the importance of uniting all state’s entities efforts to overcome all obstacles that confront Customs’ release and cargo traffic to and from the port and vice versa.

SCEZ was capable of developing its ports and its Customs’ release procedures; hence participating in enhancing Egyptian exports to abroad, and here we point out to the historical unprecedented achievement of East Port Said port where it ranked third internationally according to World Bank indicator for container ports’ performance CPPI 2024, assuring that this is to build on reinforcing SCEZ status being an international pioneering logistic center.

 Worth noting that central industrial labs affiliated to the authority at Ain Sukhna is established on an area of 2000m2 and includes a main building of two floors with 31 industrial lab and of total cost reaching 402.796 million pounds
