Maritime transport and logistics sector has participated in sixth edition of smart transport , logistics and industry conference and exhibition Trans MEA 2025. Under the auspices of president Abd ElFattah Elsisi , president of ARE. And which is organized by transport ministry during the period from 9-11 November. Under the slogan “ industry and transport together to achieve sustainable development This in participation with more than 500companies from 30countries.
The sector’s participation comes within the framework of the state’s vision to maximize yachts’ tourism and to convert to sustainable green transport and enhancing integration between industry and transport to support targets of Egypt vision 2030 and reinforce the state’s status being a regional center for transport logistics and transit trade.
This under the leadership of admiral/ Hussein ElGezeery , head of Maritime Transport & Logistics Sector where he led a seminar entitled “ sustainable green maritime transport” . He also participates in other sessions that discuss maximizing maritime tourism, yacht tourism and digital transformation in maritime transport; within the framework of supporting digitalizing maritime services and enhancing Egyptian ports’ regional competitiveness. He also led another session entitled” digital transformation and its impact on maritime transport geo – economics”
Head of maritime transport sector has also assured on that converting into sustainable green maritime transport has become a national necessity now and showed renewables concerning maximizing cruise and yacht tourism, pointing out that uniting efforts between maritime entities represents the route towards clean blue economy and a more sustainable future.
