Damietta port receives 6 vessels …. And achieves strong handlings for cargo and containers during 24 hours

   Damietta port authority media center has announced that the port has witnessed a noticeable activity in handling traffic during 24 hours, where it has received 6 vessels and 11 others have departed, so that total number of existing vessels at the port is 23 vessel

Export traffic of general cargo has registered about 43.024 ton and import traffic of general cargo is 49.338

  Moreover, containers’ number is 384 TEU exported container, whereas number of transit containers is 2.921TEU

And with regards to grains stock; grains and yields public sector silos’ stock  at the port is about 54.258wheat ton whereas private sector warehouses have registered 36.594ton

On the other hand 3 trains with total 3.633 wheat ton have departed towards Kalubeya and Shobra silos, and trucks traffic, entrance and departure, is 6.554 traffic, thus reflecting continuity of high  operational activity rates at the port.
