Egypt and Djibouti debates means of joint cooperation in the fields of transport and industry , where they have debated joint cooperation in many subjects that the Djibouti side requested from the Egyptian side to be implemented, and which are represented in cooperation on the field of  roads’ establishment and maintenance and also wind and solar energy, where lieutenant general Kamel ElWazir, deputy prime minister and industry and transport minister showed readiness of the ministry to cooperate  with Djibouti in the field of infra-structure and roads and bridges construction, as Egypt enjoys a distinguishable experimental experience in implementing projects in Egypt and in many Arab and African countries, also has been debated cooperation in establishing a logistic region in Djibouti; being a country on East African countries maritime route and participating in increasing Egyptian exports to Africa.

 Djibouti head of port authority and Free Zones, Mr. Abu Baker Omar Hady and Djibouti ambassador in Egypt Ahmed Ali Bary have assured in their meeting with the Egyptian deputy prime minister on the great experiences of the Egyptian side shown in the Egyptian universities and AAST to establish an academy or an Egyptian Djiboutian faculty for maritime transport or even to open a branch for one of the Egyptian university in Djibouti in this field. From his side, Egyptian deputy prime minister has assured on the readiness of the ministry to cooperate with Djibouti transport ministry in the field of infra-structure and roads and bridges construction and also assured Egypt keenness to support different developmental efforts in Djibouti through enhancing cooperation in different projects and providing with training and technical support in different transport and industry sectors and benefiting from Egyptian experiences in such fields.
