The Maritime Transport & Logistics Sector successfully participated in the virtual webinar organized by the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) on March 12, 2025. The event was attended by over 70 participants from leading global shipping companies that are members of the Network, alongside key contacts from Egyptian Port Authorities and professionals involved in towing and pilotage, as well as the local partner of the network, Eldib Pandi.

The webinar highlighted the significance of the Egyptian maritime sector and the importance of fostering a culture of dialogue between the public and private sectors to create a conducive maritime operating environment. Additionally, all technical inquiries raised by the participants were addressed.

During the webinar, the Maritime Transport & Logistics Sector delivered a presentation that emphasized its vital role and the avenues for collaboration with the Network within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed on November 19, 2024, which aims to establish common principles of integrity and ethics in the Egyptian maritime community.
