Lieutenant general/ Kamel ElWazir, deputy prime minister for industrial development and transport and industry minister has announced receiving of  “Hutshison1  berth at Sukhna port the giant vessel  «ZHEN HUA 23’ specialized in transporting heavy cranes and that is affiliated to Chinese ZPMC Co. the pioneering company in manufacturing ports’ cranes, on board of which 3 giant berth cranes (STS) and 6 automatic yard cranes (RTG).

 The minister in a statement published by transport ministry said that this comes amongst the second and last stage of cranes’ importing, so that total imported and operated at the terminal is 6 giant cranes (STS) and 18 yard crane (RTG), this within the framework of accomplishing super structure works of the port’s first development projects terminals; “Hutchison 1container terminal.

 He also pointed out that this comes within the framework of the state’s plan for developing all Egyptian ports in order to convert Egypt into a regional center for transport, logistics and transit  trade.
