Sukhna port has received the tourist vessel “ARWIA” coming from Safaga port on board of which 2351tourist from different nationalities, in addition to a crew of 1500 person. The vessel carries Malta nationality and is of length reaching 303m, draught reaching 8.5m, and is expected to leave the port towards Jeddah. The vessel’s reception comes within the framework of the exerted efforts to  enhance maritime tourism among the SCEZ ports , and which seeks to become a regional center for tourism and maritime and logistic services due to its strategic location on the Red Sea and the Mediterranean , and also the continuous developmental works to raise its affiliated ports’ efficiency thus enhancing their competitiveness regionally and internationally.
