The Cabinet has approved to license establishment of a dry port at Amreya in Alex governorate for the benefit of National Co. for Refrigeration and supplies.

Such approval comes following Egyptian state instructions to convert Egypt into a regional center for transport logistics and transit trade and a gateway for international trade ; this through increasing trade exchange represented in maximizing transit traffic through logistic canals and channels, and land and dry ports.
