The conference aims at supporting the African continent efforts in its transformation to use clean fuels in the field of maritime transport. It also provides a platform for discussion, exchange of views and consultation on opportunities for green transformation of the maritime industry in Africa. It presents an opportunity for showcasing the experiences and expertise gained in this regard, in addition to exploring the available partnerships, as well as highlighting the importance of the continent’s participation in setting and applying the organization’s international controls and standards for the uses of renewable energy and clean fuel in maritime transport.

The conference was attended by R.ADM/Ahmed Abd El Khaleq Badawy – Head of the Central Dept. of Maritime Transport Affairs of the Maritime Transport & Logistics Sector and Eng/Ahmed El Said Zaghloul El Said- 2nd Ship Safety Engineer of The Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety.
