Project Objective:
- According to the volume of Egyptian exports of mineral raw materials, especially solid phosphate, there is an urgent need to develop the dry bulk terminal of AboTartouru.
- Raising the port’s environmental efficiency in accordance with environmental standards.
- Renovating, maintaining, and developing roads, gates, administrative buildings, warehouses, loading equipment, dust extraction system and creating new storage areas.
Project description:
- A quays with a length of 260 m, and Service administration area of 470,750 m2.
- Filling up of the rear area of the existing quay with an area of 25,000 m2.
- Construction of four storage hangars with a capacity of 100,000 tons/hangar.
- Installation of three conveyor belts to increase the shipping rate to 30,000 tons/day.
