Ports development aims at increasing its capacity to meet the increasingly request on maritime trade, this what Dr. Amr Elsamadouni assured; according to Red Seaport authority, and pointing out that the development plan includes upgrading ports’ infra-structure; including installing latest techniques and technologies in port management. And as president Sisi assigned and gave instruction for continuing work to develop Egyptian ports network integrating with the infra- structure and what have been already achieved during the past years, and to enhance the state’s ability to maximize best benefit of which.

This will have a great positive economic impact represented in increasing maritime trade with regards to the increasingly capacity and modern infra- structure. And hence will attract more shipping companies and traders to Egyptian ports.

 Moreover, Egypt works on linking its ports with land transport networks railways and airports in order to create a comprehensive logistic services network, in addition to such big development of dry ports, this besides commitment of Egyptian ports to international environmental criteria and digital transformation so as to become green ports that supports sustainable development. And ports’ development attracts direct foreign investments in different fields as shipping, logistic services and industries related to ports. This in addition to the development process itself that will create new job opportunities in transport, logistic and construction sectors, besides the enhancement of economic growth which will participate in increasing trade and investments.
