Transport ministry has published details of clean dry bulk terminal project at Dekheila port at Alex which is considered one of the most important projects for securing strategic commodities, where a berth has been established of length1150m, depth from 16to 19m, and backyard 300 thousand m2 for receiving grains and yields which represent the strategic commodities for Egypt.

 The project’s most important info:

1. The projects aims at increasing capacity of grains and yields handling at Dekheila port with 6-7 million ton annually
2. Storage Increasingly demand .
3. Will become the first comprehensive terminal at Egyptian ports for grains’ storage and added value industries, and with highest grains’ unloading capacity at ports overlooking the Mediterranean
4. The project consists of a berth of length 1150m
5. Project depth reaches 16m
6. Project’s area reaching 300 thousand m2
7. Will be capable of receiving 4 vessels of length 240m.
8. The project began in January 2020
9. Planned to be accomplished in last quarter of current year.
