The terminals infra-structure has already been accomplished and ongoing is the super structure and the berth’s preparations and equipment in accordance with highest international specifications, and expected that the berth will serve giant vessels of length reaching 400m and up to 24 thousand container on each vessel.

This project will also provide with 2000 direct and indirect job opportunity and represents a main step in supporting the establishment of comprehensive logistic Sukhna- Alex corridor for containers and that links the Red Sea with the Mediterranean.

Moreover, the pre- registration of trucks is one of the most important characteristics of the terminal as it participated in reducing the containers’ waiting time inside the terminal to no more than 25 minutes and hence the terminal was capable of overcoming one of the biggest challenges; the congestion. As through the pre-registration the driver of the truck is informed by arrival date and place of unloading and also departure date.
