“ MAERSK”   Company, one of the major maritime transport companies all over the world continues cooperation with  Suez Canal authority SCA, being the most important navigation artery globally for supply chains and that provides with a more efficient and less cost route compared with other alternative means. This in addition to its advanced services for vessels crossing the canal. On the other hand, there is an Egyptian appreciation for all efforts exerted by “MAERSK” Group in current expansions in Suez Canal Container terminal East Port Said, as there is cooperation between both sides in many projects and the company will enter in partnership with Suez Canal Economic Zone “ SCEZ” and the authority has established a separate entrance for the company in East port Said port and there are many meeting points and cooperation between MAERSK and  Suez Canal Authority SCA.

  This cooperation includes many strategic fields, most outstanding of which is vessels’ bunkering with green fuel, training of maritime cadre and participation in operating containers’ lines at East Port Said port, this what lieutenant general/ Osama Rabea’/ head of SCA  has declared  and added that Maersk has given cash payments in advance in dollars for services of vessels that did not arrive yet ; this reflects its trust in the SC and its continued main strategic partnership in maritime transport sector. And here Rabea’ pointed out that president Sisi meeting with Mr. Robert Maersk Ogla, head of board of directors of APMoller MAERSK GP. Was very fruitful, where president Sisi has welcomed any new investments in Egypt whether in SCEZ or any other promising sector and has given instructions to overcome any difficulties and facilitate any obstacles that confronts  the company in any of its projects in Egypt.
