Arab republic of Egypt transport ministry has signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Arabia Transport general authority during World Logistic Forum 2024, to reinforce joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of maritime transport.
From the Egyptian side, Vice admiral/ Kamel El Wazir, deputy prime minister for industrial development and industry and transport minister has witnessed signing of the agreement, and from the Saudi side Mr. Saleh bin Nasser ElGaser, transport and logistics services minister and head of board of directors of the Transport General authority. The agreement includes fields of cooperation in activating maritime transport means as Yachts, ferries and tourism passengers’ vessels; ensuring flow and rapid passengers’ traffic and aiming at reinforcing cooperation fields between the two countries, developing maritime navigational activities and encouraging usage of techniques and electronic technology and platforms, hence serving berths and marine tourism traffic.
