Transport ministry operates a local yacht tourism platform, where the platform represents a great step towards enhancing maritime tourism in Egypt and maximizing local yachts, and the ministry represented in Maritime Transport & Logistics Sector manages the platform that aims at facilitating services for tourist yachts in different marinas, also the platform provides yachts’ owners and investors with services in a more organized transparent way, in addition to the platform participating in encouraging local maritime sector and opening new investment opportunities in the field of tourist yachts also improving  interaction between services providers( logistic support, maintenance and different maritime activities) and frequent marinas’ visitors.

 Moreover, it participates in controlling and organizing procedures related to yachts ‘registration and guarantees compliance with environmental and maritime safety in different tourist marinas.

The platform integrates with the Single foreign yacht digital widow that has been launched by transport ministry in 2022 to provide with highest standards of digital services in the field of yachts’ tourism and facilitating procedures related to it.

 The window is a website on the internet where the yacht owner or his representative can enter the yacht data and the passengers and upload required documents, arrival time, berthing port and whole voyage program as done in pioneering countries in the field. Then the window will electronically send it to the concerned bodies to revise data and documents and required interviews and send approvals to Maritime Transport & Logistics Sector official window site, in order to issue one approval on the visit program as a whole during 30 minutes, applying president Sisi constructions, and also issuing one invoice for the foreign yacht to be electronically collected in dollars through the window, noting that previously accomplishment of foreign yachts procedures used to take from 15 to 30 days.
