Transport minister, vice admiral/ Kamel ElWazir announces National Shipping Company, affiliated to transport ministry, receiving of “Wadi ElArish” vessel from China to join officially the national fleet in January 2024, and that the fleet now consists of 14 vessels.  The vessel gross tonnage reaches 82 thousand ton, and added that the vessel is equipped with modern navigational devices and international models and copying with present and future environmental conditions.  It is of length 229m, width 32.26m and draft 14.5m.  this comes within the framework of transport ministry plan to implement a comprehensive plan for maritime transport sector development and undergoing all mechanisms and undertaking procedures to restore the Egyptian fleet and making Egypt a World center for Transport and logistics.
