The Ministry of Transport, signed on Sunday contracts for the construction of 2 multi-purpose commercial vessels, for the benefit of the Ministry of Transport, in cooperation with the South Korea.

The ceremony was attended by L.G.\ Kamel El-Wazeer, the Minister of Transport, RADM.\ Reda Ismail the Head of Maritime Transport & Logistics Sector, Head of the Red Sea Ports Authority, President of Alkahera Company for Ferries and Maritime Transport (KCFMT), and leaders of the South Korean DAE SUN Shipyard, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport in the New Administrative Capital.

Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir – Minister of Transport also attended the signing ceremony of the terms and conditions Agreement regarding the construction and development of the superstructure, utilization, management, operation, maintenance and re-delivery of the dry bulk terminal and the logistic and industrial zone of Jargoub Port in Marsa Matrouh Governorate (B.O.T Agreement), between the General Authority of Alexandria Port and Golden Wings Co.; a specialized company in the field of logistics services and activities Investments.

This came within the framework of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to develop all Egyptian Ports, maximize the benefit from the maritime transport sector, and transform Egypt into a global center of trade and logistics.
