He also added that 60% of such cargo is transported through containers ; hence setting Egypt in a distinguished strategic location that can be exploited to increase revenues, and added that Egypt owns one of the most important navigational channels in the world; ”Suez Canal” that plays a central role in international trade traffic and that the state is seriously working to develop transport system whether land or maritime transport in order to maximize the economic benefit and ensure Egypt’s status as an international logistic center.
