President Sisi has stressed on the necessity of accomplishing all transport and industry ministries’ projects according to a specified time schedule, and continuing efforts to speed comprehensive developmental logistic hubs establishment projects that link production regions with seaports, that are currently developed; so as to become hub ports with international standards and of great capacities; and their integration with modern transport network, roads and railways, and hence providing with required elements helping to convert Egypt into an international trade and logistic center.
President Sisi also, during his meeting with prime minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, and Lieutenant general/ kamel ElWazir, deputy prime minister and transport and industry minister, has debated renewables in seaports’ developmental works as they represent a central role in the state’s developmental programs; where in this respect they have reviewed the implementation status for establishing, developing and raising efficiency of the ports: Ras Sedr seaport, Gargoub , Abu Qir seaport, New Max Port, and Grand Alex port, also accomplishment and development of SuKhna port and establishment of Taba seaport and Damietta port development projects.
