Medhat El-Kady, head of the International Transport Services Division at the Alexandria Navigation Chamber. Bahri, where the discussion session was opened by Major General Reda Ismail, Head of the Maritime Transport Sector, and his Excellency addressed the issue of transforming Egypt into a global center for energy, trade and logistics at the regional, African and global levels. He presented the most important new projects in Alexandria Port, including the establishment of El Max Port on the entire front to reach the Great Port of Alexandria. Major General Walid Awad, head of the Damietta Port Authority, also addressed the issue of digital transformation in the maritime sector, which includes the methodology for preparing a digital transformation strategy based on the requirements that have been adopted in national policies, which is Egypt’s Vision 2030.
