The Egyptian ports received approximately 2.8 million passengers in 2009, including 1.2thousand foreign passengers representing 41.2%, while the Egyptian passengers reached 1.7 million representing 58.8% of the total passenger traffic in the Egyptian ports.

• Red Sea Ports Authority is considered the most attracting authority to passengers compared the other ports authorities, where it received 2.1million passengers representing 74.2% of the total passenger and cruise traffic in the Egyptian ports.
