Maritime Unit

In 31/12/2007, the number of registered and recorded maritime units in Egypt has reached 20.1 thousand maritime units. It is permitted for the registered maritime units to move by the coast of Egyptian ports, as recorded maritime units work inside the local port only (except for some kinds, which can sail between Egyptian ports, on the condition that it would be towed by a vessel or a registered unit.
