Passengers Traffic in Egyptian Ports

In 2006, the number of passengers in the Egyptian main ports have reached about 3.4 million passengers (Arriving – Departing) compared to 3.7 million passengers in 2005 with 8.4% decrease than the last year. It was distributed as 65.9% Egyptian passengers and about 34.1% foreigners. Red Sea Ports Authority is considered the most authority that passengers call at with 82.9%, in addition to the number of passengers received by specialized ports.
