Cargo throughput in the Egyptian ports

Egyptian ports have handled in the year 2004 about 82.2 million ton where it was 73.8 million in the year 2003 with an increase rate of about 11.4%. 66.7 million ton of which are local handled cargoes with the percentage of 81.1% of the total handling, with an increase rate of 8.1% as compared to the year 2003. also, Egyptian exported products has reached an increase rate of 12.2% in the year 2004 if compared to the year 2003.

Egyptian ports has reached an increase (in the transport) of 3.4 million ton with an increase of 28% than in the previous year 2003 and this an important indicator.
