The total incomes of the Egyptian main ports, the Egyptian Authority for the Safety of Maritime Navigation and MTS reached 1.4 billion L.E (After exchanging incomes from foreign currency to their equivalent in local currency).

Thus, every pound spent on main ports returned 1.7 pounds as direct income to the country apart from the indirect incomes through customs, taxes, shipping companies, maritime agencies, container companies and rail ways
