Port Description and Constituents

It is a maritime platform affiliating Suez petrol co. extended 800m inside the sea and protected completely from northern and east north and west north winds. It is also open for southern winds and located at 69 m from Suez Canal outside the residential area.

Navigational Features

  • A white light at the end of the breakwater with a red light fixed used in approach.
  • Red light at the end of the units mooring berth.

Approach Area

  • Identifying and locating the port is done by G.p.S.
  • The port is located by a provision buoy on the north of the berth.
  • The port is also located by a northern.
  • The Approach line was a 90o and some changes was done at the end of the breakwater and the berth light.
