First Day : ( 14/09/2005)
The Sixth Meeting of the Ministers of Transport, Communications and Public Works was held from 14 th to 15 th September, 2005 at the Coral Bay Resort Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

The meeting was attended by Ministers from: Djibouti, Egypt , Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Rwanda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Delegates from the following countries also attended the meeting: Comoros, Congo D.R., the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Sudan, and Swaziland.

The following organizations attended as observers: African Union (AU), Universal Postal Union (UPU), ARICEA, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and Transit Transport Co-ordination Authority (TTCA).

Egypt was elected as a chairman for the Ministerial meeting, Rwanda as a vice-chairman, and Zambia as Rapporteur.

Adm. Sherin Hassan, head of the Egyptian Maritime Transport and the chairman of the 9 th meeting of the Transport and Communication Committee has presented to the Ministerial Meeting the report issued by committee.

The Egyptian Minister of Transport, Prof. Dr. Essam Sharaf, accompanied by their excellencies the Ministers of Transport, Communications, and Public Works inaugurated officially the exhibition established on the margin of the meeting, where over 25 exhibitors have presented their activities in the related fields.
Dr. Essam Sharf Minister of Transport has opened the exhibition accompanying the conference with the participation of more than 25 exhibitors.
Second Day :( 15/09/2005)
*All the Ministers and the deligations went to a trip to Saint Catherin from 6:00 am till 16:00
* The closing session will start at 18:00.
