6. There is a cooperation between Egypt and the African countries in the field of maritime transport sector data and information exchange. There is a data bank in maritime transport sector that enables the African counties to obtain all necessary information or data by email:contact@emdb.gov.eg


7. The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and Port Training Institute provide African Countries with training courses using their available capabilities to be implemented whether in the Maritime Institutes in Egypt or in the ports of these countries. Moreover, there is a memorandum of understanding between the Academy and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) pertaining to training the African nationals at the Academy, as a part of the Integral Program of Technical Cooperation projects.

8. Egypt (presented by Maritime Transport Sector ) participates in all conferences organized by African unions, communities and organizations and offers technical cooperation proposals in the field of maritime transport.

9- Maritime Research and Consultation Centers of Maritime Transport Sector provides African Countries with technical and economic consultations and feasibility studies for their ports projects upon request.
