3. A number of twinning agreements were signed to the enhance port cooperation and twinning of Egyptian and African Ports, between Alexandria, Casablanca, Port Said port, Port Louis(Mauritius), Suez, Dar EL-Salam.

Moreover, a number of Maritime Transport Agreements have been signed between : Egypt, on one hand, and the following African and Arab countries on the other hand : Morocco, Tunis, Libya, Algeria, and Sudan. There are other potential agreements between Egypt and: ( Nigeria, Gabon, Cộte D`Evoire, South Africa and Senegal).

4. There is cooperation and integration between the African countries via regional communities and organizations such as : North African Ports Association , African Union, African Association for Ports Cooperation putting forward the necessary recommendations and mechanisms of implementing ports integration.

5. The Egyptian vessels will call on African Ports whenever the suitable volume of cargo is available. Multi-modal Transport is applied in all inland countries through the transshipment of cargoes from ports to them. Then comes the phase of inland transport by vehicles. There is a regular shipping line (Egyptian Private Sector Co.) between Suez and the ports of Kenya and Tanzania. The outcome of operating this line depends on the available volume of cargo carried.
