Eighth Meeting of the Transport and Communications Committee

Introduction:

The Eighth Meeting of the Transport and Communications Committee was
held from 18 th to 20 th October, 2004 at the COMESA Conference Centre in Lusaka , Zambia .

Attendance:

The meeting was attended by delegates from: Burundi , D.R. Congo, Egypt , Eritrea , Ethiopia , Kenya , Madagascar , Malawi , Rwanda , Sudan , Uganda ,Zambia and Zimbabwe . The following organizations attended as Observers: United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), USAID, REDSO, ESA, Transit Transport
Co-ordination Authority (TTCA) and Anderberg/Ericsson Consortium.
