  (It handled about 106.6 million tons of cargo, 4.6 million TEUs and 3.4 million passengers. Transit containers have reached 3.1 million containers.).

• Port Said Port Authority (PSPA) had the largest share in Vessels' calls 30.1%
• Red Sea Port Authority had the largest share in passengers' calls 82.9%
• Port Said Port Authority (PSPA) is the biggest port that participated in handling containers 58.2%
• Alexandria port had the largest share in handling cargo 37.5%
• Percentage of handled dry bulk cargo out of the total handled in main ports 29.7%
• Percentage of handled liquid bulk in main ports out of the total handled in main ports 4.8%
• Percentage of transit cargo (in tons) of the total handled cargo in Egyptian ports 26.5%
