  • Berths length: 3 km
  • No. of vessels calling at specialized ports: 1495
  • No. of Yachts calling at specialized Ports: 4199
  • Total throughput of specialized ports: 231.7 M. tons.
    • The specialized ports (except Sumid) handled: 18 M. tons
      • 14.7 million tons in Petroleum Ports.
      • 0.9 million tons in Fishing Ports.
      • 2.4 million tons in Edco Port (Natural gas has been shipped from Edco starting from May 2005).
    • Sumid oil pipes handled (El-Sokhna & Sidi Kreir ports): 213.7 M. tons
      (Compared to 216.3 million tons in 2004)
      • 109.5 million tons in El-Sokhna Port (Sumid).
      • 104.2 million tons in Sidi Kreir Port (Sumid).
